PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information Be Unconventional HQ collects when you visit the site, why we collect it, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.

Security & Bot Protection

To protect our website from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode. Turnstile may analyze browser and device characteristics to verify that you are a human, not a bot. This data is processed strictly for security and verification purposes and is governed by Cloudflare's standard retention and privacy practices.

Marketing & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel to understand our audience and measure how our content performs. These are loaded through Google Tag Manager.

• They use cookies and similar technologies to record page views, on-site events, and aggregate audience trends.
• To collect these measurements they necessarily receive technical identifiers such as your IP address, device and browser characteristics, and cookie identifiers. We do not upload customer lists, email addresses, or other contact details to these platforms.
• Once received, this data is held and processed by each provider under its own privacy policy and retention schedule, which we do not control.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Behavioural Tracking

We use Microsoft Clarity to capture heatmaps and session replays showing how visitors move through the site. Clarity's default configuration masks text entered into form fields, so what you type into a form is not intended to be captured in a replay. Retention is governed by Microsoft's own policy.

Embedded Video

Some pages embed YouTube players. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but once you play a video, YouTube receives your request directly and may set its own cookies. That interaction is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Newsletter Subscriptions

If you submit your email address to our newsletter form, we store that address along with the date you subscribed. Subscriber records are held in Cloudflare KV storage on our own infrastructure, and are kept until you ask us to remove them or we retire the list. We use them only to send you updates about Be Unconventional HQ. We do not sell or rent them.

Contact Form

Our contact form collects the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. Submissions are delivered to our editorial inbox by Resend, a third-party email delivery provider, and are used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or rent this information.

Hosting & Infrastructure

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes requests to the site and may log technical information such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Your Rights & Choices

You can limit analytics and advertising tracking through your browser's cookie settings or with an extension that blocks tracking scripts. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including removing your address from our subscriber list.
